Just Cookin BBQ: Experience the Best of Soul Food and Seafood in Cincinnati

My visit to this place was awesome. My favorite thing was all the black memorabilia and recognition. It truly looks like a soul food place it reminded me of some thing I would see in Chicago or Detroit .the portion size WILD it took me three different meals to eat all the meatloaf. The yams were great a little on the sweet side. The macaroni and cheese was definitely homemade. It was great. Everything was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking for Southern style cooking black homemade cooking. Like your granny made it yeah, this is the place for that. And it was very affordable. You can’t beat that I got everything for under $20 .They have a wide variety of items on their menu. I’ll definitely have to visit again and try the breakfast.

Fried foods are cooked to order which is awesome. My order was taken promptly. I recommend going early because some things were sold out but everything I wanted was available. Price and value are decent. Portions are generous. Please support for great soul food with flavor.

I’m visiting from out of town, it’s my first time here. The food was really really good and I loved it. I got the rib meal. But the lady giving out the food was mean. She had a hat and a lip ring and acted like she didn’t want to be there. I’ll come back for the food, but not for her attitude. Please be nicer.

The food was outstanding — fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made by someone who actually cares. Easily the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The lady handing out orders — wearing a toboggan, glasses, and a lip ring — was rude, impatient, and acted like customers were an inconvenience. No greeting, no courtesy, just attitude. It’s disappointing when great food is paired with someone who seems completely uninterested in basic customer service. I’d come back for the food, but not for the experience. Too bad they didn’t know I was a secret shopper..

To Just Cookin’ BBQ The food was excellent, the service was on point My co-worker & I stopped here for lunch, our office is just around the corner and we got our food within 10mins of ordering. Allowing us to take full advantage of our hour long lunch break. I will definitely be back SOON ! The turkey ribs were tender & the lamb chops were delicious Mac & Cheese is like Grannies homemade, took me back. Now I have the itis lol heading back to work

First time checking out Just Cooking at the new location (even though they’ve been here a while), and it’s still the same fire. I ordered the pepper steak with yams and the beans of the day, plus a side of cabbage. They gave me string beans instead, but I figured they were probably out of cabbage since I ordered online—not a problem. Food was hot, seasoned right, same healthy-sized portions, and cooked with love like always. I ordered online and it was ready real quick. Same taste, same quality. Atmosphere was chill, service was on point. Everything was just very, very, very, very, very good. I’ll definitely be back.

Quick & delicious! The smoked wings were kind of small but super meaty. The pork bbq was amazing & the sauce was incredible. A side of potato salad, also delicious, made the amazing meal complete.
